My landscape book

Here’s a little guided video tour through one of the sketchbooks I’ve been working on. All landscapes, all ink, all extra-awesome.

And if they flew by too quick, here are some snaps.

Really nice, Danny! I love that the book itself also has a history, sort of like the buildings you drew–with stories of its own.

    Danny:
Wonderful buildings! Nice to see these. I'm relatively new to your work so seeing such an array gives me a better sense of your style and talent.

Really cool, Danny! I'm reminded of your interview with Roz, I think it was, when she said she'd put stuff on pages when making her sketchbooks and then adapting "whatever" to her sketch when she got to those pages. Where did you come upon this book?

Loved this tour Danny! Loved seeing the old book re-worked and made just for you. Gave me an idea about using my unsold Creative Memories scrapbooks for sketching and drawing like this. You are an inspiration to so many.

  5. That was an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing this. That paper looks so ready for your art. Keep up the wonderful work. So much to see and draw around us.

    I'm glad you are back.
I love the old scrap book and the drawings. I purchased a scrapbook with black pages on clearance and I am hoping to sketch in it with pastel pencils or gel pens. I really love drawing on brown craft paper books. The pen, pencil and colors really look cool.

I'm off to teach a nature journaling class tomorrow at University of Montana continuing education for 50+ in age. Thanks for your inspiration. I'll be pushing your books!

Love these drawings. I used to live in NY and these really give the feel of what it's like to be on the street. You don't often see this type of view in books about NY….it gets that scrappy layered feeling that NY brings.

  12. Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.
