I have always loved the idea of having a little horse-drawn caravan to live in. I'd also love to live in a tiny house with everything all compact and stowawayable with room for some pens and tiny journals. Staying with d.price in his little buildings just brought the dream back again. Maybe when we're old and free, Patti and I will ship off in a tiny place like this.
Watch this little movie about a little house and see if you share my fantasy.

Right on! I remember seeing the Lord of the Rings and wanting to live in a Hobbit house shortly afterwards. It made me wonder, what if we actually took that approach in the first place (with regards to the architecture as being part of the land). It's also funny, 'cause last Sunday I went to see a great exhibit by sculptor Martin Puryear. Some of his pieces looked like these strange, tiny little pod homes, and I remember telling a friend how cool it would be to go inside with a book or a sketchpad and read or draw all day. Here's a link to one of them, which, unfortunately, you couldn't enter or even touch:

Anyhow, love this video Danny. Thanks for sharing!
Share your fantasy? This video is sheer heart porn! YES, I'd dearly love this lifestyle, Ah the peace and quiet and beauty, lack of rent or mortgage. I'd need an 100 sq ft enclosed canopy rigged with electricity to do my stop motion art, and high speed wifi, and the money to rig the cottage out this fellow has.
I've known about this guy and his tumbleweed homes for quite some time. I always wanted the midsize home. The only problem is in order to get one, you have to live in the area he builds because the cost of delivering one of these is expensive. They are great feng shui though, and I always thought of living in something like this too.
Well we had talked about downsizing.....but I think you would have to be single for this to work. It's so cute and no mortgage is a really cool thought, but sometimes you just need some space. But never say never.

Yup, I share that fantasy....mine involves getting a tiny vintage trailer and fixing it up. Now the kids are leaving home and it's just me and Joe...it just might happen!

Seems a fit for you and Miss Patti though.
