Let's see. I think it is your blog. I think you have the right to say anything you want about anything. And I'm glad you did.

Hooray to you for putting your opinion out there. It matters too.

My husband I went out canvassing for Obama this past Sunday and it was an eye opener for us. We live in rural Virginia, one of those critical states the media labels swing states. The one thing I observed about the registered Democrats that we were sent out to contact, was that they were the hurt, the depressed, oppressed, and over worked poor from our area of Virginia. It gave Lee and I a deep sense of gratitude for our lives, our small home, and our loving family and friends. There are people like you Danny, and your family and community of like-minded artists and thinkers, who have been able to bring themselves up through society, no matter how much money we make or how little, we have the capacity to enrich our own lives through our intelligence and openmindedness. There are so many who haven't touched these resources either because they don't know they exist, or because their education and home life never allowed them to touch the sweetness of art maybe because the pain of just getting by from paycheck to paycheck tired them beyond hope. It was truly sad to see how so many in our country are living in poverty, both economic and spiritual. Thanks for writing your feelings about our political year and let's us hope for HOPE in November.

That's the way it is. Some folks just don't want to hear what others have to say. You said your piece and others said theirs. Everyone has an opinion. In our society we are supposed to accept another person's opinion without retaliation. Theory is good, application is another story. Now, let us all get back to DRAWING.
