Mattias RocksSeptember 13, 2008
Everyone in my new book is mad inspiring. Here's a terrific example. Mattias Adolfson, a very Swedish fellow, draws with enormous clarity, accuracy, and humor. His line is so distinctive and takes him from letter perfect landscapes to silly flying pigs. In this and several other videos, Mattias flips through one of his Moleskines and shares his work. If you'd like to see more, check out his blog for regular postings and reserve your copy of An Illustrated Life: Drawing Inspiration From The Private Sketchbooks Of Artists, Illustrators And Designers |

I love Mattias' drawings. His wife Cecelia has a great style too.
Is that video showing Mattias' work? The style seems so different.

I just want to say thank you for this book. I've become familiar with so many of the artists you've highlighted in the last 2 years after reading the Creative License and starting my own sketch blog. These are amazing talents that really deserve praise.

I ordered "An Illustrated Life" already some moths ago (April 4) when you first mentioned it. But earliest delivery here in Germany will be the middle of December. Canīt wait for it.
