I really like the shading and the lay of lines for the eyebrows. Really gives alot of characterization to this lad. Interesting what we, the viewers, may think we see in the eyes. They could be of someone who is sad, but could also be just someone staring off into space with other thoughts on the mind.
What I wonder is if you did the penwork after the sumi wash? It's the only way I can see to keep the lines from running.
