I was confused before I arrived in Vancouver; whenever I would check the weather report for Vancouver, it would say it was well below zero so I packed all sorts of protective gear in anticipation of Arctic conditions. When I arrived, it was warmish and foggy and I realized that the forecasts were all in celsius and I was seriously over equipped.
I like what I have seen of the town. I have eaten a lot of fish and wrestled with jet lag.

We are shooting in Canada because it is far more affordable than shooting in the US. Vancouver is a very busy production center and the casting and crews are surprisingly good. Of course, I miss the weather and the beaches of LA. It seems likely that the next commercial I film (in just a few weeks) will take me and my team to summertime in Australia. I'll let you know how that works out soon.

We have just finished the first day of shooting. We completed the first commercial for a lovely product called Color Wonder. Our star was a sweet Vancouverienne named Jenny. She just turned five.
Tomorrow we begin filming a commercial for Color Explosion. It will be far more grueling as we will be shooting (non, not literally) almost twenty children. We plan to post outakes from the shoot on crayola.com. Look for them in a few months.
Between jet lag and a busy schedule, I've not been drawing much on this trip though I've had fun making stuff with the Crayola products we are filming.
I return to my home, my wife, my boy and my hounds on Thursday night.
