We just got the very first brand-spanking new edition of my book, Everyday Matters. It is so damned cute in paperback! It will be officially available on January 9th, just in time for early 2007 Xmas shoppers.
Get it here!
If you don't own Everyday Matters, buy several copies now! Give them to friends who need perking up. Ask a teacher to add it to her required reading list.
If you already own the hardcover and are sick of trying to wedge it in your back pocket, buy yourself several copies of this ultra-portable, totally-squishable version.
If you have only ever read this book while sitting on the floor of a bookstore, brush the cobwebs off your wallet and get at least one copy of the real thing to read every day.
Folks, this new editions has all the tear-jerking hilarity of the original with a new cover and festooned with all sorts of new adulatory blurbs.
Robert Crumb loved it! Chris Ware loved it! Moby loves it! You will too!
PS I am going to Mexico for a couple of weeks. I won't be posting new entries in the interim to give you time to order your copy of Everyday matters!

How do you feel about nearly causing a divorce? And we've only been married five months. The issue? your book!! I was delighted to find out about the book: and Immediately ordered it! I shared the news with my wife: suddenly flames emanated from her mouth, as her ears became pointed and long, and her voice reverberated like Darth Vader:
"will you stop doing things until Xmas!!"
Though the phrase was colourfully punctuated with unpublishable expletives,
"I've already bought it for you!"
I hurriedly cancelled my order: I think she has calmed down a bit and as soon as I get out from under the bed I'll check!
It confirms how lucky I am to have found a woman with such impeccable taste!
Have a good Xmas!

Congratulations, Danny - it's beautiful. And one of my favorite books, too!

I'm sorry but I can't help remembering the advice you gave to a guy just a couple of weeks ago: "It also keeps reminding me that your work is for sale. Woo me a little first before waving the' for sale' sign." Maybe you should take your own advice with the grossly self-congratulatory promotion here.

Well Santa brought me EDM! And after the traditional enormous family lunch, ( they're not enormous, only the portions!) when my wife and I were left on our own, I started to read it. Unfortunately I've now read about three quarters, and I don't want to get to the end! Feel I need to re read it already! It's a great book! Well done, Danny.
PS Can't quite work out the time scale: when did you start drawing?
