Olivier Kugler

Every so often I come upon someone who does what I want to do so unbelievably well, I feel like never even trying again. When I encountered Oliver Kugler's work, I fell into a funk that mixed the blackest black with the greenest green. Check his work out but be careful if you are feeling in anyway fragile. And this series he's doing for the Guardian is painfully fantastic.

Danny, I don't understand. Oliver Kugler's work is great. Danny Gregory is not Oliver Kugler and Danny's work is great (and in my opinion, more 'accessible'). What a shame if the freshness and unique eye of Danny Gregory's work turned into a clone of Oliver Kugler's style when it has a style and bravery of its own.

His last name is spelled, um, "Kugler".
