Kurt Hollomon (teacher, illustrator, designer, mountain climber) has just launched a revamped website with many drawings, maps, and journal pages. His work is very inspiring to me; he's made me rethink the way I lay out pages, how I use type and color, and his unique ways of crosshatching have transformed many of my own drawings. Oh, geez...I love this guy's work. Thank you for leading me there. I need to practice my crosshatching...he does it so well and I love the way he applies color.

What a great site! Thank you for sharing it, Danny. You are right, Kurt's use of type and his unique handling of pen and ink are really inspiring. I especially enjoy his addition of words using an old (real!) typewriter.
While I'm at it let me also say I've been enjoying your portraits and your bold and expressive handling of color.
