I have begun to build one of the components of my fantasy, a gathering spot for cool and useful information that can be built by the whole community.
See it at everydaymatters.pbwiki.com
I have sketched in a few little pieces but I know that if we all chip in, we can turn it into something really useful.
Some of it requires writing new entries but a lot of it can be repurposed posts from this board, stuff that we don't think should disappear into the bowels of our archives but be easily pulled up and accessed. It takes minutes to assemble an entry and the tools are really easy to use.
For example, I took the discussion Michael Nobbs began about watercolor moleskines and then added Roz's Response and made a little page of it that would be easy to access. It could be about five minutes. See it at: Rebinding Moleskine.
Anyone can edit or add new pages. I can create more of a tutorial but, honestly, it was easy to figure out. on my own and it would be for you too. I think I spend an hour and a half at lunch time assembling the whole thing.
There's a guide that explains the tools and shortcuts here. Our password is EDM. Check it out and throw in your two cents.
Your pal,
Danny

Jane:
I think you have to be signed into the group for this to work. Try signing and try the link again. Let me know if not so,
Your pal,
Danny
