Read the rest of this entry to see a wonderful video of the master.
This is a sene from the movie, Le Mystère Picasso (1956) .
Using a specially designed transparent 'canvas' to provide an unobstructed view, Picasso creates as the camera rolls. He begins with simple works that take shape after only a single brush stroke. He then progresses to more complex paintings, in which he repeatedly adds and removes elements, transforming the entire scene at will, until at last the work is complete.

What's the story here? Was this video actually created by Picasso or is it an approximation? I find no info other than advice to read the whole entry, which doesn't seem to be there. Other than that... cool!

That is fascinating. It feels like a study in learning when to stop. There were many phases where he could of ended, but he chose to continue. Then, he did end it at the point that he deliberately chose to.
Can you please provide more info about the entry. I've seen some prints at MOMA of his development of lithographs, but this is entirely new to me.
Thanks,
Kathy
