Attention D.Price fansNovember 4, 2005
As you may know, Dan Price, author of Moonlight Chronicles, has a wonderful new book out called “Radical Simplicity: Creating an Authentic Life”. First off, I strongly urge everyone to read and learn from this terrific little book. |

Hello,
I bought this book six weeks ago and I loved it. I especially liked the part about his thoughts on how we are de-evolving. I live in LA I see it all time. Personally, I don't think I could live in a tepee in the middle of winter, but his quest for alternate living arrangements its fascinating. I have your book too.

The funny thing is, if you find the bad review, click on the writers profile, and then find his wishlist, the guy desperately want's a Segway. I think that says it all.

Maybe that's his issue. D.Price has several Segways and keeps them in a special hole.

Seriously? I just see the word Segway and I think Arrested Development. At which point I start to giggle... Wow, this is a tangent...

Well, I bought the book and then left a review on the amazon.com website. The fool who left a bad review doesn't understand the whole concept of simplified living. If he did, he'd understand it is an individual's decision, and that Dan wasn't asking anyone to live in a hole. He was merely telling his story. I find it quite interesting and have been following Dan's adventures, (and drawings) for years. The only reason I don't live in a hole is because I am a woman who loves indoor plumbing, but don't fault anyone who lives off the grid. I say it is an awesome way to live if you can do it. Dans philosophy of becoming so small as to not destroy anything in the environment is quite admirable. Sounds like he has peace and simplicity. I am slowly evolving to that.
