Would you be interested in joining me on a half day sketchcrawl in Manhattan some time over the next
couple of weekends? Let me know if and when. Either comment below or email me.
Your pal,
Danny
HELL YES! I am new to New York and I love to draw, but have been feeling shy about going out in this town to do so in public. Maybe there is comfort in numbers. Keep me posted!
Like others, I need a kick to do this, and would enjoy the experience of being with others. October 29th is the only day in the next few weekends that works for me.
Danny, your stamps remind me of the work of the late Donald Evans. He was an architect turned artist who invented countries and painted series of stamps in watercolor for each. His work was collected in "The World of Donald Evans" by Willy Eisenhart.
Danny,
I would love to do a sketch crawl sometime, but we leave for vacation tomorrow. Please announce the next one on your weblog so I don't miss the announcement.

I would like to be part of this adventure. I moved to NY from MI at the beginning of the summer and I'm still in the process of making this my new home.
I'm coming over to New York for the first time at the beginning of November for a couple of weeks. It would make my holiday to go out and about with you and your sketchbook!

Why are you doing this now when I was in New York just a week ago? *sob*
So, if anyone in Copenhagen sees this, I'm up for it :)

If I'm free, yeah, I'd love to. I'm all rusty and could use a little sketching juice.

If it fits in my schedule, it would be fun...

Those stamps are sooo cool. I would love to join you. Maybe I will have to start something like that here in Portland, OR. I bet someone already has.
Thank you for your inspired, considered and thoughtful posts.

Danny,
A sketch-crawl would be excellent. Definitely worth coming in from Connecticut for it. Please count me in for 10/22 or the morning of 10/23.
Cheers,
Kate

There is a possibility that I will be in NY before the end of the month. Please let me know when you plan to do it and I'll see if if works for me.

This is just what I need. Dates that work for me are 10/23 after 10:30am and possibly 10/30 at the same time.
