Lovely, lovely. I just bought one of these famous journals and this exhibit makes me want to draw, draw, draw. Thank you for a bit of inspiration on this gray (rare) New Mexico day. Hmm, I guess I better start with some drawings of clouds.
Thanks for the awesome link. I've been visiting your site for a month now--and joined the yahoogroup. Your art is wonderful, alive, vibrant, down to earth! Thanks for sharing it with the world in so many different ways!
Gorgeous. I just looked at every single book in their exhibition. I didn't know Moleskine made the accordion style. Their site, moleskine.com, shows music paper & storyboards too. Inspiring.
My two faves were 1) the meticulous color landscape ribboning across several foldout pages -- reminds me of Miyazaki; and 2) the cut-out pages which create shadow art when light shines through.
A record of my exploration into all aspects of drawing, illustrated journaling, creativity, and the inspiring aspects of art. By the author of "Everyday Matters," "The Creative License", and "An Illustrated Life" and other books.
