Danny, please tell you mom I love her work. I have been feeling like I should document the elms in our neighborhood. We have lost 3 in 2 years.

Congrats to her! I am especially impressed with the amount of dedication and research she puts into knowing the characteristics of all the leaves, how they dry, what glues to use and so forth as the article discusses. She is a Renaissance woman - an artist, a craftsperson and a scientist as well.

I love your mom's art pieces! How wonderful they are. And what a wonderful woman she is! Thanks so much for letting us all know.

Danny -- your link is now going to a piece on wine. Any chance of getting some kind of permanent shot of her page?? (This is thanks to Ron Sullivan of Toad in the Hole who tried to click through a link on Feathers of Hope...)

Pica:
Thanks. Unfortunately, the link had vanished as the paper is a weekly. Oh, well. For more, check out www.leafages.com
Your pal,
