Illustration Friday is certainly a fun way to expand your drawing subject horizons and to be to be introduced to lots of other people who like to draw. It is a great resource for discovering sites around the web from those that make a living through drawing to those who draw simply for pleasure.
Nice to see you participating.

Great sketches, they've inspired me to check out some of the other illustration friday submissions. Are these done with your new Faber Castell pens? How are you finding them? Keep it up.

JoHunter:
Yup, Faber Castell all the way (my rapidoliner freaks out too much on the plane) and I am committing to this brown color until I fill up this book.

I got my copy of Everyday Matters today. I sad down and read it straight through. I understand you writing about Peanut... but is that the same child as in Everyday Matters? of is there really another one "in the works?" Nosey people want to know.
My hubby's first wife developed MS (years ago) and he had many of the same thoughts and concerns as you have expressed. Regrettably (for them, not me) the MD's didn't realize the mental health component to MS and the wife up and went home to mama, sued for divorce and crushed DH, who had just wanted to do what was right for his highschool sweetheart. He gets furious when people park in handicapped parking spaces without permits or overt disabilities... because back in the day, when he was carrying his wife up and down stairs, lugging a chair around, etc., there were no special parking places.
Thanks for sharing your way of seeing.
