That’s so wonderful you have someone that inspires you! There’s an artist I’m dying to meet, but I haven’t been so lucky. =P

Danny, it was so funny to see myself as the nostalgia of the day. I can safely say that I've never been that before and it is quite FUN!
Your posting has reminded me that I am behind in my updating of my website. I haven't done it since January (EEK). I'll get busy on that.
I do hope you get to visit again soon. We have a female baby zebra at the Como Zoo right now who is down right perfect! She still has some fuzzy fur on her brown stripped back. I was there yesterday and recalled how fun it was to draw with you.
Unfortunately it was in the 90s (which even without humidity makes me wilt) and so after standing around drawing pelicans for a bit I was in no shape to draw the zebras, but there will be another day.
I'm gearing up for the State Fair draw-athon now! And you'll be happy to know thanks to your encouragement (OK, bossiness) I have been drawing a lot more buildings, broadening my horizon, or at least my picture plane.

Terrific drawing and painting! I've used the waterbrushes and now wonder why it took so long for someone to come up with the design. Gawd, they're great.
