Write Me

New 'nut

May 31, 2005

The Morning News is carrying the most recent installment of Peanut today (a day late for Memorial Day). It's a fairly amusing romp through a pelvic exam and, slightly less pleasant, an extended cruise with my extended family.
New found anxieties include: squatting behind bushes, tumors, Liz Claiborne, and a newfound fear of cat shit.
I have illustrated them in yet another style, this one more cartooony than the norm, appropriate for the rib-tickling drama I call my life.
Enjoy.

Danny, I LOVE these illustrations and would love to see more!!! This story is awesome and I just can't wait for more...

Big Harry =)

Ha! After that intro, I can't WAIT!

Just finished it--it is the best yet, Danny. Very, very funny, laugh out loudable at times. And by the way, I know see where Patti got her cute nose. Ancestors are worth something, are they not?

Great episode. Such an interesting family you have. I love your writing style- very much like your drawings- spontaneous yet deep.

I actually prefer the drawings you made in the first two installments over your recent drawings in the subsequent episodes. The subsequent drawings don't carry the personality and spontaneity you bring to life so well.

What an absolute pleasure your writing is. I LOVE getting to know the family better via Peanut.
