Rwandan Easter

As I mentioned last year, my friend Julie Dermansky celebrates Easter each year with a drawing marathon. This year she is far away, having abandoned her tornado-struck farm and headed to Africa. She sends us pictures along the way and today these eggs arrived in my email box.

I'm reminded again (maybe the crazy bunny did it) of how much I appreciate your blog and the drawings that go with it. I'm pretty isolated from other artists most of the time and sometimes have a hard time remembering why I do this and for what purpose. And then I read and look at your drawings and I get it again.
I read these comments and know everybody says this all the time, but it bears repeating. Thanks.
PS: I'm running out at lunch today for The Art Spirit. I should be carrying this with me at all times!
