A new thing

While I have gone on and off moleskines over the years, I had to snap this one up. A journal preprinted with little frames, perfect for sketching out little storyboards or page layouts or comic books or whatever. All on a sturdy, water resistant oaktag paper. If you're a designer or ad guy or film maker or odd book collector, check it out.

Oh I want one!

This may be the most fantastic thing I've ever seen.

I don't have one yet, but I loved 'em the moment I set eyes on 'em. Gotta have one or ten.

Where does one get it???

Cool! I'd love to know who makes this so I can try to find one locally or order one.

I've become obsessed with moleskines and have yet to see this new one you talk about! Good find!

I want to see yours with some drawings in it!

That is a fantastic find! Thanks for letting us know. I'm going to pick one up.

I believe the official name is Storyboard Notebook. (It looks like it's currently only available in the 3.5" x 5.5" size.)

junk!! that's the best thing I've seen in a week! I'm trying NOT to want things....

Speaking of new things, the new nameplate? banner? -- whatever it's called, I like the new look.

Now, of course, we look forward to seeing some sketches in the new moleskin.

Oh damn you! I read this just before lunch and had a $10 borders voucher burning a hole in my pocket. I'm now the proud owner of a mini version (they didn't have the larger one).

Ah, found out who makes these: http://www.moleskine.it/eng/_interni/catalogo/Cat_int/catalogo_pocket.htm

Now, to scour the South Florida countryside for one...

Oh, no, my imagination just ran away with me! Now I have to go look for one of these!

Oh, I love it! Just got one from here:

oh gosh ~ I'm such a stationery freak I can barely contain myself ;)

Thank you for sharing your world, Danny.

Blessings!

Have you noticed how each of the little sketching frames is in exact ratio to the Moleskine as a whole? Its even got the little markings at the half-way point of the top and bottom where the notebook crease would be. I think there is potential here for a cynical little post-modern metaphor for a contemporary preference for the copy rather than the authentic, a la Jean Baudrillard. But that would spoil the simple beauty of Moleskine which should never be blasphemed.

i have missed you for about 2months no e-mail :(
please make sure am back on your daily list

i love this ware can i order this one ?
i have all the others
great to hear from u again

i also have an online sketchbook and often have scans of my moleskines on there as well.
