Thanks to every one who asked after me recently; I am pretty busy with some important projects these days so I shall be reducing the pace of fresh updates to the blog. I shall send out an announcement when a new post is up.
Your pal,
Danny

Take care Danny! Will be glad to read your next post when you're around again!
(I've been faithfully checking it out everyday, but just haven't been commenting..kind of been in withdrawal mode...absolutely love that picture of Jack!!)

You're an inspiration always!

We'll look forward to your return. Will you repost the painting you did out your window?

In the meantime, can I recommend for the timid journalista, the post from a few weeks ago which included the downloadable doodle diary. I've just completed my first month's worth of postage stamp sized drawings and have printed out the next month's page. I've trimmed the pages to fit in my work diary and glued them in. I use whatever biro comes to hand - I started with a bit of colour but found it got in the way.

Dreary meetings are now welcomed. I've also sent the file off to a number of friends and work colleagues and I'm hoping there'll be an infestation of journalistas starting to take hold.

I've been really impressed with how much better my drawing has become on just one little drawing a day - I think the small canvas forces a strength of line, and if I've writen something as well it needs to be succinct (just to fit).

An so, what's happened in the last month? Well, there's been a graduation (double degree, triple major), a 21st birthday, stage challenge, a book read with Seraphino the flying baby, the parent teacher evening straight out of Harry Potter, two job interviews, late nights early mornings, mothers' day, trash, irises, bookinding, war with Word, a new web site for my wife finished (mostly)...and more. It's all good - and now I know why I feel tired quite often - but I'm not sure how I manage to fit in going to work.

Good on ya, Danny, any increase in creativity is a good increase...
