Nice to see your story is getting wide distribution! a question: What kind of pan watercolors are those between your feet? It looks like a bright, serviceable set. Kinda looks like many of the colors Daniel Smith sells but i can't tell from the picture.

Those are Grumbacher Deluxe Transparent Watercolors. I like 'em.

Ahh, the Decemberists. Such a fun band, I always feel like they're such a closely guarded personal secret and I'm always shocked when someone else mentions them. At the same time I love introducing new people to them and watching their reaction.
You may want to check out Andrew Bird for a similar sound.

I liked the portfolio too, by the way...
Sort of like looking at someone else's vacation slides, just filtered so you're seeing them in a more personal way.

ha! my question was not about the watercolors, but the journal - I know you bind your own frequently, but that one was spiral bound so I thought maybe not.
(looking for a journal that takes watercolors)
