Wonderful drawings Danny! (as ever!). Hope you had a good rest despite the various maladies! I didn't get a single chance to draw this Easter break, due to moving house - but once all the boxes are unpacked I will start again. I may start by drawing the boxes... ;)

I'm never quite sure where some of my posts go...into the ether I guess...I was saying thank you for posting your lovely lovely postcards to catch us all up! I was wondering, what does the H2Ocolor field kit look like that you take on trips? How many colors are in it? Are the colors that you use mostly straight from the tube? i.e. the bright bright greens and blues...questions, questions questions...I'm glad you're all back ^_^

Hi Danny,
I just stumbled onto your site a week ago. I've since ordered your book (it arrived this morning - read it front to back - glad I had the foresight to order three copies). You're an inspiration! I've done some watercolor journaling - take a look at the travel sketchbooks on my website if you will. Looking at your web log reminded me of what a good brain shift it is to really LOOK at things. I've been painting everyday since. Thank-you!! I leave for Cancun on Saturday - will try to post another travel sketchbook when I return.

Hi Danny,
Glad you're back. Thanks for the book reviews. I also LOVE Jhumpa Lahiri. Have you read Interpreter of Maladies? On the other hand, that D Code really got your goat! I must beg to differ with your critique. Although no one could argue that it's high art it's a fun read and I was surprised to find that with a little research much of the info in it can be verified. I guess the whole point, for me, is about really paying attention and looking at the "same ole" with new eyes which is something you talk about all the time!!
