Danny, your wobbly stack of books made me laugh out loud. Then I had to crane my head sideways to read the titles so I can order them from the library. Have a good week. June
The Anne Truit book is something I do very much want to read. It's out of print here in the UK but I think I'm just going to go and find myself a second hand copy right now...
what a great idea...a break from the wonderful world wide web...hmmm...wonder if I could do that? If only I didn't sit and look at a computer every day for 8 hours or more, maybe then I'd have more willpower to stay away :)
enjoy letting your eyes focus on words on paper instead of words on an illuminated box :)
A record of my exploration into all aspects of drawing, illustrated journaling, creativity, and the inspiring aspects of art. By the author of "Everyday Matters," "The Creative License", and "An Illustrated Life" and other books.

I'm all about the electron fast. It's even better when you're able to undergo them semi-regularly. You'll thank yourself, believe me.

Yay for you!! Have fun!
I must try one of those fasts sometime soon!
N.C. Wyeth is just wonderful! But I've yet to read anything about his life. Think I'll jot that down on my "to read" list.

I have two of those books by my bed, too: "The Namesake" and "Education of an Illustrator." And "How to Be Good" is on hold at the library. How funny.
