It is nice to curb my yen to draw every bit of minutiae. This morning I am letting my mind fill in some of the hyacinths to give my pen a rest. More neurons, less ink.

Wow! Very cool....this is just what i needed to see Danny! I have some flowers in a vase that are close to dying and i wanted to capture them quickly but i too get caught up in the minutae...so i will attempt to simplify.
Btw i bought your book and read the whole thing..rather i devoured it....it was wonderful....both your thoughtful words and fabulous drawings. Both you and Dan Price are such a gift to the world!
after reading/absorbing Everyday Matters and explaining it numerous times to my art teachers reading over my shoulder ive added(more like re-added for a millionth time) you patti and jack to my "list of people i want to be like when i grow up." in other words, have a nice day(all of you) you rock.
