Or I have known them all already, known them all:
Have known the evenings, mornings, afternoons,
I have measured out my life with coffee spoons

This is a drawing of time elapsing. I took an apple and did a quick sketch of it, then took a bite, did a drawing, took another bite, another drawing, etc.
The series shows the apple's descent towards core-hood but it also suggests my action off the page, biting and chewing.
It's mundane, but life is just a series of moments like this, as time takes bites out of us then leaves our discarded cores.
Why not make something beautiful out of the trip?

Congratulations on your new blog! She's a beauty I say. I look forward to checking in often and seeing what you are up to, what drawings are pouring out, or what's on your mind.
People are going to love this. I hope you do too.

Richard Bell, my artist cyberfiend, told me about your site, Danny. New Year's greetings from the Texas Hill Country! I dislike the word "blog" but enjoy your journal and your site. Very creative and an inspiration. I will return many times. The ingested apple is great!

That apple looks way better than it could possibly have tasted. Everything's relative, I suppose.
